About Us

Information about International Children’s Medical Aid (ICMA):

• We are a totally voluntary registered charity with no paid employees and because of this 100% of the donations are put towards the benefit of those in need, not on salaries etc.
• It is not our policy to have funds invested to gain any interest, but to use any donations immediately for the purpose for which they were given.
• We are a strictly non-political or sectarian organisation dedicated to the relief of suffering by taking practical action in supplying material needs.
• Our humanitarian work covers Eastern-Europe, India, Africa, Sri Lanka and the UK.
• It is the strict policy of ICMA to directly and individually help those in need.

Our Aim

International Childrens Medical Aid exists to provide relief of suffering on a global basis, thus practical action is supplying material needs. In this mission, we are working towards promoting the concept of Human Values. They are Love, Peace, Right Conduct and Non-Violence.

Our Commitment

ICMA is fully committed to the principles of interfaith Harmony and Human Values. Thus we shall carry out our work, rising above any social barriers resulting from gender, race, class, religious affiliation and physical or metal limitations of individuals. To provide practical and positive assistance where ever called upon to do so.

Our Objectives

• Sponsor feeding projects for children in need.
• Provide books, tools for education, etc to orphanages and children’s homes to enhance their educational abilities.
• Promote religious harmony among young children and develop interfaith understanding.
• Provide training and development workshops for the volunteers, members and supporters.
• Help those who endeavour to help themselves and others.
• To ease suffering in whatever way we can by taking constructive, positive and practical action.
• To provide medical care, and awareness of the medical conditions i.e. Aids etc., also aiding dignity at every level.

Our primary concern is the welfare of children. To this end it is intended to give their needs our first and foremost consideration at all times, particularly children who are in extremis through social and medical lack.
